Volunteers needed to help the Brave Heart Fund

The Center for Civic Engagement and Community Service is soliciting volunteers to help the Brave Heart Fund in selling its "hearts" items during Solidere Valentine's event at Beirut Souks between February 7 and 15, 2012. Volunteer now!

The shifts are two hours each: 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm, 2:00 - 4:00 pm, 4:00 - 6:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

This week is considered Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) Awareness Week during which an international coalition of health professionals, non-profit organizations and support groups participate in a campaign to increase public awareness of congenital heart disease.

All the proceeds from the sale will benefit needy children suffering from congenital heart disease.
