  • About The Accessible Education Office (AEO)

AUB strives to foster an inclusive university community that welcomes, respects and values people of diverse backgrounds and abilities.  In concert with this mission, the Accessible Education Office within the Office of Student Affairs facilitates equitable access for students with disabilities to academic, social, and recreational activities and programs. AEO works in collaboration with students, faculty, and staff to implement services and accommodations that remove barriers to participation for a better robust, and well-rounded student experience. The provision of such accommodations is in accordance with the university’s commitment to these goals, AUB’s non-discrimination policy, and relevant US federal law. The AEO works individually and confidentially with students who choose to disclose disabilities.

If you are a student with a documented disability or condition that is affecting your academic achievement and you are seeking accommodations in your courses and programs, we encourage you to contact us at to ensure that you get the accommodations you need for your academic pursuits.
