Topics are chosen according to member's interest and the availability of a study group leader to lead the activity. The study group leader then chooses the format, whether it is a large lecture, a small seminar, or an excursion. For examples, see our current and past terms sections.
- Study groups: Held once or more per week on various topics of interest. Study groups run for 4-6 weeks
- Mini-study groups: Held once or more per week on various topics of interest. Mini-study groups run for 2-3 weeks
- Lecture Series: Tackle a specific theme and open to all members and in some cases to the public
- Cultural travel programs: Organized in Lebanon and abroad based on a specific educational component
- Evening with the Profs: Offer AUB faculty an informal setup to talk about their research
- Intergenerational programs: Foster connection between the regular AUB student body and our seniors enhancing the "Intergenerational Connections" principle
- Special Interest groups: Offered to members who would like to pursue a non-academic interest or activity
- Social and cultural events: Held once or more per term to enhance the "Community Building" principle
- Other activities, to be determined by members
